About Ann
Ann Cecilia Tepperman LCSW, LISW
Ann is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in holistic and integrative mental health. Her work is grounded in EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work (IFS), with a focus on helping clients create meaningful, lasting change.
Over the course of her career, Ann has engaged in extensive clinical training and in-depth study of the brain, nervous system, and the role of lifestyle in supporting mental and emotional well-being. She began her work as a social worker serving homeless women and children in the San Francisco Bay Area, and went on to work across a wide range of settings including residential treatment, substance use recovery, hospice care, and university counseling.
She has held leadership roles in holistic treatment programs and group practices, and now works in private practice supporting individuals who are often thoughtful, self-aware, and deeply engaged in personal growth.
In addition to psychotherapy, Ann specializes in integration work helping clients embody and sustain the changes that emerge through therapy, meditation, retreats, assisted psychedelic sessions and other transformational experiences. Her approach combines neuroplasticity, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed modalities to support lasting change in daily life.
In addition to attending several weeklong and advanced meditation retreats, Ann has also completed Dr Joe Dispenza’s Practitioner Training Program giving her a unique perspective on integrating profound internal shifts into lasting change.
“I treat each person, regardless of their background, trauma and story as if infinite possibilities are available to them.”
